Spark Alliance in the IONITY app

IONITY is a member of Spark Alliance - partnership between four industry-leading European EV charging companies - Atlante, Electra, Fastned & IONITY. The aim of the Spark Alliance is to create one seamless charging network, simplifying the experience and making EV ownership easier than ever. From 7th July 2025 in the IONITY app you can find stations of Spark Alliance partners and choose them to charge your EV via each member's payment website.

Is there a Spark Alliance App?

There’s no need for a new app - each member’s regular app is ready for the Spark Alliance.

This means any driver using the Atlante, Electra, Fastned or IONITY apps can view other Spark Alliance stations and pay by using the member’s link provided in the app.

What price will I pay when charging at stations of other Spark Alliance members?

‍

When you charge your vehicle with any Spark Alliance member, you'll pay the standard rates set by that member. Please note that any discounts or subscriptions, including IONITY subscriptions, won't be applicable at member stations. Don't worry, the price will be clearly displayed before you start your charging session.

Are you planning to create a subscription or dedicated discounted tariffs for the Spark Alliance network?

At the moment, there is no specific rate or subscription planned for the Alliance, but there will be updates on this soon.

When I want to start a session at one of the partner’s station via IONITY app, it takes me to an external website. Why?

‍

Soon you will also be able to recharge directly in our app with our cooperation partners. Stay tuned.
