When a vehicle with an internal combustion engine parks in a space reserved for EV charging, this is often called ICEing. ICE stands for “internal combustion engine”. This can prevent EV drivers from accessing the charging point.

If this happens, try to find the driver and politely ask them to move their vehicle. If you can’t find them, ask a member of staff at the service station for help. They may be able to locate the driver.
