IONITY chargers' halo colours

Already from a distance you can recognise the 2.6 metre tall HPC with its unique multifunctional LED light ring. This so-called halo provides visibility in the dark when approaching the charging station, as well as creating a brightly illuminated environment of the station during the charging process. In addition, various colour modes indicate the different statuses of charging.

The charging stations were developed in cooperation with the BMW subsidiary Designworks and were awarded gold at the iF Design Awards 2019 for their design and lighting concept.

The LED halo indicates the status of the connector:

STAND BY/ SLEEP MODE
Halo is dimmed white.

FAHRZEUG KOMMT AN DER LADESÄULE AN

Wenn das Fahrzeug ankommt und von den Sensoren erkannt wird oder wenn der Benutzer das Display des Ladegeräts berührt, leuchtet das Halo in Weiß auf.

ANSCHLIESSEN & AUTORISIEREN
Wenn der Benutzer das Ladegerät an das Auto anschließt oder die Zahlung autorisiert, ändert sich die Farbe des Halos nicht - es wird weiß erleuchtet.

LADEN
Wenn der Ladevorgang gestartet wurde, pulsiert das Halo in lila und die LED zeigt den Ladezustand der Fahrzeugbatterie an.

LADEN BEENDET
Nach Beendigung des Ladevorgangs bleibt das Halo rosa, bis das Fahrzeug an die Ladesäule angeschlossen wird.

Nach dem Ausstecken wird das Halo wieder weiß.

FEHLER/ERROR
Wenn ein Fehler auftritt, wird das Halo rot.
