Why did my car charge less than the station indicated?
The charging process itself consumes electricity on the part of the vehicle – in particular because the battery cells have to be kept at the optimal temperature.
This leads to discrepancies between the amount of energy actually delivered by the charging station and the energy stored in the car battery and displayed by your vehicle.
If additional power-consuming devices such as radio, heating or air conditioning are switched on during charging, the discrepancy may be even greater.
