Dear Customer,

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience you may have experienced due to the IONITY PASSPORT monthly subscription payment on 01 March 2022.

Our monthly billing system did not perform as expected and instead of creating one monthly payment our system generated a number of pre-authorisations with the bank.

What are we doing to fix this?

  • IONITY will cancel all payments that were generated in error. This can take up to one week to be processed within IONITY.
  • As you may be aware, IONITY cannot influence the customers bank on how fast the bank credits the cancelled pre-authorisations back to the bank account. Therefore, depending on your bank, it might take several weeks for your bank to release the pre-authorised payment(s).
  • IONITY will only debit your account with one monthly IONITY PASSPORT subscription fee.
