There is a reserved amount on my credit card account, why?

As part of the payment verification process, we will perform a pre-authorisation on your credit card. For this purpose, 1 GBP, 1 EUR (or a similar amount in other currencies) will be reserved on your credit card. After successful charging, the amount will be adjusted, and the actual amount of the charging session will be booked on your card. In case the charging session could not start, the pre-authorised amount will be cancelled. This may take up to 24-48 hours.
